I really hope they bring back Club Karte or do some discounts on the hotels. I have to come from far so I always book a random hotel in Brühl because the price difference with Phantasialand hotels is too big. I do this multiple times a year and sometimes it 'hurts' me that I visit my favorite park and only give them 3x 26€ for tickets. And some random hotel gets 400€.. I rather spend that 400€ on Phantasialand as it's my favorite park. But a 4-night stay at Matamba will costs me 960€ (instead of 400€). With the Club Karte (which had hotel discounts) I would spend so much more directly at them 🥲. I really want to give them my money but the difference is just way too big now.

I was also in the park, and I know exactly what toxic smell you'r talking about! I watched through some mini holes in the fence to see what they were doing, since it made a lot of noice too. 1) I saw an excavator scraping the ground (which explains the noice) 2) I saw that there were concrete walls that they were "burning together". The concrete walls are not part of the building but seperate. There was some black stuff in between the walls and they were burning it. It looked like "Dachpappenbrenners", if that translation makes sense 🙈. I did not take pictures. Sorry 😶

I think it is good that someone puts this online and informs the park. They are not known for listening to guests so posting it online puts some extra pressure behind checking the track. It may have been a crack in the track. That is something very serious.. Better safe than sorry.

If you're looking for something other than greasy fries or pancakes: Kashba (near Vogel Rok) Healthy sandwiches, salads, normal (fresh) hot meals, fruit smoothies Het Witte Paard (near the region of Droomvlucht / Villa Volta) Healthy sandwiches, salads, normal hot meals (pasta e.g.), fresh fruit Bäckerei Krümel (near Max & Morritz) Healthy sandwiches There are some more options (Gegrillter Käse, Türkische Pizza) which might be better than fries. But indeed, the gastronomy in the Efteling is definitely not outstanding.

Wahr. Thinks that Danse Macabre in the Efteling is very beautiful, but an anticlimax.

Small detail, but today they installed 3 new airco units inside of the shop. Maybe to heat the shop during the winter? They installed the outdoor units behind the arches: (This is just a random picture, without the outdoor units. I only marked the positions.)

It looks like the floor of the 'basement' is on the same level / height as the path to Wakobato. The roof of the basement will be at the same level / height as the entrance of Fantasy. Whatever they building there, it could be - or include - a new approach to the Wakobato path.

The big white lighting (work lights) has been on for at least a week in the queue and during the entire ride.
